Founder
I was raised in North Dakota on a farm and my family also owned a livestock market. For as long as I can remember I had a strong passion for animals and especially the sick and less fortunate.
It has always been my belief that I needed to protect animals as they have no voice.
When Livie came into my life the journey of a non-profit began. It was a dream to help the sick and unwanted. God brought me Livie so I would believe in myself and make this dream come to fruition. The rest is history....
Thank you Livie for making me who I am today and thank you for sending Rifle to me so that he may be my testimonial that dreams really do come true.
Livie
Inspiration
Olivia George, aka Livie, came to me at nine months old with full-on congestive heart failure. Livie’s heart disease was far too advanced for her to have any surgery. She was with me for five amazing and beautiful months. Livie fought to stay with me through my most memorable holidays, Christmas, Mothers Day, and Easter. The evening I told Liv that if she was ready to go, Mommy would be ok and she passed in my arms that morning at 3:00 am. She fought to stay with me and was a trooper until her last breath.
Livie indeed left her Legacy behind. She left an incredible mark in this world and most certainly with me.
Livie’s Chateau was founded in honor of her profound and beautiful legacy she left behind.

Rifle
Star Participant
Rifle came to me at 11 weeks old with the same congenital heart disease as Livie (2 blocked heart valves). I knew Rifle had a chance in life. He was too energetic and mischievous not to. After finding Cariologisit, Dr. Christopher Paige, he agreed to meet with Rifle. His words stayed with me as he told me he owes it to Rifle and me to continue to study his case because of what happened to Livie.
Rifle had several ultra sounds, a CT scan (which looked suspicious) and in order not to put any risk on his life, he had dye injected the day of surgery to see if he could go through with ballooning his 2 blocked valves. By the grace of God and Dr. Paige's healing and steady hands, Rifles surgery was a SUCCESS!
Rifle is a little pistol! He’s mischievous and loves to stir up his siblings. His surgery was 2-16-2022 and he is doing amazing!
